App: GPS Map Camera Photo Timestamp

Effective date: 22 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GPS Map Camera Photo Timestamp ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We respect your privacy. The App is designed so that your photos, videos and location details stay on your device.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store or transmit your personal information to our own servers. The App processes the following data on your device only:

Location data (precise and approximate): Used to show your current position on the map and to add location details (address, latitude, longitude) as a stamp on the photos and videos you capture. Location is processed in real time on your device.

Camera: Used to capture photos and videos when you use the camera feature. Captured media is saved only to your device's storage.

Microphone: Used only to record audio when you record a video with sound. Audio is saved only as part of your video file on your device.

Photos / media storage: On older Android versions (Android 9 and below), storage permission is used to save and display your captured photos and videos. On newer versions the App uses the system media store.

2. How Your Information Is Used

To add location, address, coordinates, date and time stamps on your photos and videos.

To display maps, street view, satellite view and traffic information.

To measure distance between points you select on the map.

To show world clock times.

To open your phone dialer or your chosen sharing app when you use the SOS Emergency feature. The App itself does not send your location anywhere; sharing happens only through the app you choose (for example your messaging app), under your control.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the Internet to load map content. Map, street view, satellite and traffic data are provided through Google Play services and the Google Maps platform. When map content is loaded, Google may process data (such as your IP address and map requests) according to its own privacy policy:

Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third party.

4. Advertising

The App may display advertisements served by Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google. When ads are shown, AdMob may collect and process certain data to serve and measure ads, which can include:

Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)

IP address and approximate location derived from it

Device information (model, operating system, screen size, language)

Ad interaction data (views, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google under its own privacy policy, not by us. For more information, see:

Google AdMob & Ads: How Google uses data in AdMob

Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time from your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (or reset/delete your Advertising ID).

5. Data Storage and Security

All photos and videos you capture are stored locally on your device. You are in full control of this media: you can view, share or delete it at any time using your device. Because we do not operate servers that store your personal data, uninstalling the App removes the App's access to your data.

6. Permissions Summary

Camera – capture photos and videos.

Microphone – record audio in videos.

Location (fine and coarse) – add location stamps and show your position on maps.

Internet / network state – load map content and check connectivity.

Storage (Android 9 and below only) – save and read your captured media.

You can deny or revoke any permission from your device settings. Some features (for example the location stamp) will not work without the related permission, but you remain in control.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
